Watch Rewards aren’t just for Worlds anymore Riot Games Watch Rewards were introduced into  League of Legends  just last year as a part of the 2018 World Championships. They awarded players with a small amount of tokens for checking out games during Worlds. League of Legends’ upcoming chain champion has new teaser images

Demacia, chains and a mystery

Riot Games
Thanks to a few teasers, we know that our next League of Legends champion will be a chain wielder. The original image was shown in a champion roadmap, along with a teaser for Neeko. Other than the fact that this person has two legs and a set of chains, our next champion has been an absolute mystery. The newest set of teaser images bring a little more clarity to the issue, although its not a full reveal yet:

These images, entitled Visions of Demacia, suggest that this chain champion has the ability to lock down and possibly even control enemies to some degree. Lux, Galio, Garen and Jarvan IV all have their abilities or weapons on display, and those chains are clearly locking three of the above champions up to some degree.
This could be a Demacian champion who shows the nation’s darker side, which has so far only been hinted at. Demacia is anti-magic to the point of fascism, and only a few rare mages — including Lux — are allowed to work and live among polite society. A champion who shows that conflict could be very interesting indeed, especially if he has magic of his own, and uses it to further Demacia’s will.
We’ll likely see more info about this upcoming champion as January progresses.
